Blackboard Academic Suite - Developers License

Generally, you will want the best hardware within your budget that surpasses these constraints also taking into account your database software which might reside on this same hardware:

  • 2 Ghz dual core processor
  • 2 gb memory
  • 40 gb space

The developer software will run even when underpowered, but degradation in performance will be noticeable especially in a situation where multiple developers collaborate on the same development server.

The Blackboard Academic Suite can be run in a virtual environment, but this configuration is not supported.

The Blackboard Academic Suite can be run with Microsoft SQL Server Express edition, but this configuration is not supported.
