Action on Failure return: User is presented with a server-unavailable message.
Action on Communications error: Same as failure (Error logged to file).

If specified then this request is called as a simple XML response method. The ping request is sent by Blackboard Learn prior to generating the redirect page in the user's browser. If the ping returns successfully then the page redirects the user. If it fails then the user is presented with a Proxy tool server unavailable message. If a ping action is not specified and the server is down, users that attempt to access the tool are redirected and receive a standard browser-generated server-not-found error.
