George Kroner

Solutions Engineer, EduGarage
E-mail George

George's primary responsibility is to ensure that members of our developer community have the resources they need to be both innovative and successful. Having previously been a technical consultant with Blackboard's Services team, his primary role now is to enable Blackboard's developer community by providing technical insight, project sponsorships, professional development opportunities, and promoting the open sharing of knowledge, resources, and open source educational tools.

George is responsible for creating content for EduGarage, coordinating developer outreach activities, and finding better ways to support and grow the developer capabilities of Blackboard products. He also supports the development of many open source projects.

Judy Lynn

Solutions Engineer, Blackboard Developers Network - Commercial
E-mail Judy

Judy's primary role is to serve as a technical advisor for commercial members of BbDN.  She is a functional expert on Blackboard products and how best to integrate with and extend core features.  She and George Kroner collaborate extensively on enhancements to Blackboard and their impact on developers.  Angela Dorsey provides guidance on how to best support commercial partners within the BbDN program.

Judy joined Blackboard in 2005 as a trainer in the Services group.  In that role, she designed and delivered Building Blocks workshops.  She delivered Academic Suite workshops on-site and at Blackboard headquarters in Washington D.C.   Judy and George first worked together on a complex Services engagement to extend Blackboard functionality for a K-12 client.

Judy holds a B.S. degree in Computer and Information Science and worked in corporate IT for 18 years.  She changed course and earned a M.A. degree in Education and Curriculum Development.  She first used Blackboard as a student during her masters program.  Judy taught high-school math and computer science for 6 years prior to joining Blackboard.  As a teacher, she used the Blackboard Learning Systemâ„¢ to support and enhance her students' learning experience.  Working for Blackboard was the next logical career move and brings together Judy's background in technology and education.
